The other night I was determined to scrounge up all of my empty MAC containers in hopes of getting a few free tubes of decadent lipstick. I love their "trade 6, get 1 free" deal. After rummaging through my "lip" drawer...
(yes, I have a drawer dedicated solely to lip products)
I digress.
But I had to see if any of my fellow warriors had any life left in them!
*This tip is perfect for those lip glosses that are almost empty, or look empty. Don't be fooled, you can squeeze a few more miles out of them. Trust me.
How To:
Boil water in a tea kettle, or pot if you don't have one.
Fill a coffee mug half way with hot water
Make sure your lip gloss tubes are tightly sealed, so no water finds a new home
Set the tubes in the water and allow to sit for about 10 minutes
The gloss will warm and melt to the bottom of the tube, instantly giving you a few more uses or showing how much is really left!
Turns out I saved 3 tubes that will easily give me a few more weeks of use
Saving money?! WINNING!
Yes, I did watch Pocahontas while waiting for my lip gloss and wrapping last minute Christmas gifts.
Don't judge me.
Have you tried this trick? Did it work for you? Do you know another method?

wow, thanks for the tip...I can't wait to give this try. I'm always looking for ways to save money!!! #WINNING
